Clouds bring rain and snow, storms and tempests. They also birth rainbows and gift color to the sunsets. That’s the yin and yang of life. Sort of like challenge and growth, struggle and accomplishment. Ask you Self, “Would you really give up the color?”

We never truly know the heart of another, nor do they know ours. Start from this place of not knowing. Make no assumptions. Have no expectations. Ask curious questions from a place of love and compassion. Listen deeply. Notice miracles happening as you discover their light, and your own. There’s a practice I teach called “clearing.” You start meetings or team huddles by inviting people to say what they need to say to clear their minds, to be present. Mostly we look at what went wrong. What if we spent just as much time looking for what went right? And, then, reframe “wrong” as an opportunity to improve? That’s what the military folks call the “plus-delta.” What went right (plus) and what can we do better next time (delta). It gets rid of the blame and makes room for being human. (And, you are such a great human.)
